  1. Rotate the crankshaft to match the timing system gear references .

  1. Fit the engine flywheel stop fixture again

  1. Unscrew the screws (1a)and remove the timing system chain tightener (1b).

  1. Unscrew the timing system driven gear screw.
  2. Remove the timing system driven gear(2a),timing system chain (2b)and timing system drive gear (2c).

Refitting

Where replacement is necessary the components of the timing system (chain, driven and drive gears) are all to be replaced together.
