(Continued)
When the automatic clutch system is electrically powered (ignition switch turned to MAR), the solenoid valve I is closed so that as master cylinder D shifts forward. The oil in the circuit is compressed and control piston H moves, disengaging the clutch.CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT
The electric motor is powered by the power unit. Control A turns shifting nut screw B backwards. Master cylinder D is pushed back by the spring to its home position. The pressure decreases in the circuit and the control piston H returns to home position, thanks to its spring and to the thrust disc spring, thus engaging the clutch. To assist the electric motor in disengaging the clutch, compensating spring E has been introduced. This spring balances the thrust from the thrust disc diaphragm spring. The power unit transforms the electric control signals from the control unit in power signals to operate the electric motor.

Rated resistance of cursor 2 KOhms ± 20%
Electric actuator solenoid valve
The solenoid valve is secured to the electric actuator assembly. If electric power supply is down, the valve is opened and the hydraulic circuit is connected to the reservoir. When the system is powered, the valve is closed. When the solenoid is closed the hydraulic circuit is pressurised and the control unit can control clutch engagement/disengagement.(Cont.)
