3310A60 - FRONT BRAKE PAD - REPLACEMENT

Removal

  • Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
  • Perform Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) - R.R.
  1. Remove the front brake caliper hose from the bracket.
  2. Remove the lower pin fastening clip.
  3. Remove the lower front brake caliper lower fastening pin.

  1. Shift the front brake caliper upwards.
  2. Remove the front brake pads.

  • Perform the same operation on the other front brake caliper.

Reassembly

  1. Compress the front brake caliper piston with a tool similar to that shown in the figure below.

  1. If required, remove and replace the front brake pad fastening spring.

  • Fit new front brake pads on the front brake caliper bracket.
  • Reposition the front brake caliper on the front brake pads.
  • Insert the front brake caliper fastening pin.
  • Fit the lower fastening pin clip.
  • Fit the front brake caliper hose to the bracket.
  • Perform the same operation on the other front brake caliper.
