  1. Remove the cap from the piston.
  2. Remove the seal.

During this operation, be careful not to scratch the brake caliper cylinder.

Reassembly

  • Fit the seal in the front brake caliper seat.
  1. Refit the cap to the piston grooves.
  2. Refit the piston-cap assembly in the front brake caliper unit.

  • Fit the brake pad fastening spring in the front brake caliper.

3310A50 - FRONT BRAKE DISCS - R.R.

Removal

  • Perform Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) R.R.
  • Perform Op. 3310A57 Front brake CALIPER BRACKET (one), LH or RH, R.R.
  1. Remove the screw.
  2. Remove the pin.
  3. Remove the front brake pad.
  • Perform the same operation on the other disc.

Reassembly

  • Remove the front brake discs and torque fastening screws
Fastening Component Ø Value (daNm)
- Screw FRONT BRAKE DISC M8 1.2
- Pin FRONT BRAKE DISC M8 1.2

While refitting, remove all traces of rust from the hub seat and the front brake disc to ensure perfect perpendicularity of the disc with respect to the hub.

  • Complete with Op. 3310A57 Front brake CALIPER BRACKET (one), LH or RH. R.R.
  • Complete with Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) - R.R.
