  1. Remove the screws fastening the handbrake lever.
  2. Remove the complete handbrake lever from the switch.

Reassembly

  • Fit the complete handbrake lever to the handbrake switch.
  • Connect the electric wire to the handbrake switch.

  • Torque the handbrake lever screws.

  • Torque the handbrake control guard nuts.

  • Fit the handbrake return linkage and handbrake cable to the linkage.
  • Screw the adjustment plate.
  • Screw the lock nut.
  • Completare con Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - Stroke adjustment.
  • Complete with Op. 7040A62 TUNNEL PANEL - R.R.
  • Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

  • Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.

3380A20 - HANDBRAKE LEVER KNOB - R.R.

Removal

  • Lift the handbrake lever.
  • Remove the handbrake lever knob.

Reassembly

  • Refit the handbrake lever knob.
  • Lower the handbrake lever.

3380A30 - HANDBRAKE CONTROL WIRE- R.R.

Removal

  • Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
  • Check the handbrake is not engaged.
  1. Remove the lock nut.
  2. Remove the adjustment plate.
  3. Remove the handbrake return linkage (3a) from the linkage (3b).
  4. Remove the ends of the handbrake wire outer sheath from the support.
