5510D10 - SPARK PLUGS - R.R.

Removal

  • Remove the spark plug wires.
  • When the engine is cold, blow air in the spark plug seats to remove any dirt or impurities.
  • Unscrew the spark plugs and remove them.

Refitting

  • Check spark plug conditions. If required, replace them.

The use of spark plugs other than those of the prescribed type can damage the engine or increase emission of pollutants in exhaust.

  • Fasten spark plugs to the prescribed torque.

  • Refit the spark plug wires.

  • Perform Op. 1048A10 - COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R.R.
  • Remove the spark plug wires.

Removal

  • Remove the spark plug wires from the coils.
  • Remove the spark plug wires. Remove the wiring.

Refitting

  • Position the wiring and fit to spark plugs.
  • Refit wires on coils.

Removal

  • Perform Op. 1048A10 - COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R.R.
  • Remove the fastening screw and the coil guard.
    1. Remove the spark plug wires from the coils.
    2. Remove wires from spark plugs.
    3. Remove wire support (3b) from the tapet cover by releasing peg (3a) and remove the spark plug wiring.

Refitting

  • Position the spark plug wiring and fir the wire support on the tapet cover.
  • Fit wires on spark plugs and coils.
  • Assemble the coil guard and fasten the screw.
  • Complete with Op. 1048A10 - COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R.R.
