  1. Unscrew the four nuts (1a) and remove the access cover (1b) to the submerged supply pump.

  1. Disconnect the supply pump electrical connection

  1. Tie a probe to the wiring for easier insertion when reassembling.
  2. Take out the bulkhead lead rubber and take out the wiring leaving the probe in the seat.

  1. Cut the three retaining straps (1a) to release the wiring (1b).

  1. Unscrew the fastening screw and remove the earth node.

  1. Release the wiring from the retainer pegs (2a), cut the clip (2b) and remove the wiring from the vehicle.

Refitting

  • Check that the wiring is not damaged and that the individual wires are correctly anchored to the connections.
  • Check whether the connections are fitted with a secondary lock.
  • If required, check continuity.
