2. Release the wiring from the retaining straps.

• Carry out Op. 5530B10 - BATTERY - R.R.

1. Tale out the maxi fuse box support(1a) and separate it from the sockets(1b) of the additional fuses.

1. Take out and remove the water discharge sleeve from the lower side of the heater.

• Release the wiring from the four retaining straps under the heater trim and take it out.

1. Take out the fairlead seal and withdraw the wiring bundle from the passenger compartment toward the engine.

1. Make sure that the wiring is free from the fastenings and remove from the vehicle.

Refitting

• Fit the wiring in the engine compartment.
• Pass the wiring bundle in the passenger compartment and fit the fairlead seal in the relevant seat.
• Fit the wiring under the heater trim and close the four retaining straps.
• Assemble the water discharge sleeve to the heater.
• Position and fit the maxi fuse box support.
• Repeat the operation for the sockets of the additional fuses.
• Complete with Op. 5530B10 - BATTERY - R.R.
• Connect the earth node on the right wheel housing and tighten the fastening screws.
