5	CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF SINGLE POINTS OF WEAR Carefully check type of wear. A profile with single points of wear is noted		All OK Go to Step 6	Problems found Incorrect balance or faulty tyre	Intervention Restore correct wheel balancing PROCEDURE OP. 4450B40. If required, replace the tyres
			All OK Go to Step 6	Faulty shock absorbers	Replace shock absorbers PROCEDURE OP. 4410A12 (front) 4420A30 (rear)

6	CHECK FOR THE PRESENCE OF WEAR IN STEPS Carefully check type of wear. A stepped profile is noted		All OK Go to Step 7		Problems found Incorrect vehicle geometry	Intervention Check vehicle geometry: PROCEDURE OP. 4450A10 (front) 4450A40 (rear). If required, replace the tyres
6			All OK Go to Step 7
7	CHECK CORRECT OPERATION Check the fault is no longer present		All OK End of test	Problems found Fault persists	Intervention Seek the fault starting from another symptom Please note that tyre wear is often accompanied by faulty road holding and vehicle handling: see Tables H.
