With the car moving, noise leading from one of the front doors can be heard.

If required, run the preliminary wind noise localisation test TESTS 70 TEST A, to check the wind noise is actually leading from one of the front doors

Preliminarily check:

  • – correct closure of mobile window.

Moreover, adjust door hinges PROCEDURE OP. 7005A14.
Wind noise from between door and mudguard (zone C of 7005 TEST A) Adjust door hinges PROCEDURE OP. 7005A14
Wind noise from glass scraper (zone D of 7005 TEST A) Check intactness and correct assembly of glass scraper 7005D26
2 CHECK CORRECT OPERATION Check the fault is no longer present End of test Fault persists Seek the fault starting from another symptom. If required, run the preliminary test (TESTS 70 TEST A) to localise wind noise source.
