FRONT SEAT HEATING NOT WORKING

When the switch is pressed the seat heating does not work.

1	CHECKING WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment and check for the following at the CAN: inactive control units; control unit errors; control units with errors in CAN line.	Continue to Step 2	Presence of faults.	Continue according to the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.
2	CHECKING WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Keep the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected and check for errors: at the seat heating control switch; at the seat heating operating relay.	Continue to Step 4	Seat heating control switch error.	Continue to Step 8
		Continue to Step 4	Seat heating operating relay error.	Continue to Step 3
3	CHECKING ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check continuity/insulation of the electrical connection between the seat heating operating relay and the driver's position node/passenger position node See E3076 ELECTRICALLY-ADJUSTABLE SEATS.	Continue to Step 6	Electrical connection interrupted or not insulated.	Restore electrical connection continuity/insulation See E3076 ELECTRICALLY-ADJUSTABLE SEATS.
4	CHECKING WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the seat heating motor is working properly using active diagnosis.	Continue to Step 8	Seat heating motor not working.	Continue to Step 5
5	CHECKING ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check continuity/insulation of the electrical connection between the seat heating motor and the driver's position node/passenger position node See E3076 ELECTRICALLY-ADJUSTABLE SEATS.	Continue to Step 7	Electrical connection interrupted or not insulated.	Restore electrical connection continuity/insulation See E3076 ELECTRICALLY-ADJUSTABLE SEATS.
6	CHECKING CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Replace the seat heating operating relay.
7	CHECKING CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Replace the seat heating motor.
8	CHECKING CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Replace: if the driver's seat is involved: driver's position node if the front passenger seat is involved: passegner position node
