2.0 16V JTD

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

See in Op. 1044B10

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the fuel filter mounting (1b).

1. Disconnect the rapid connectors for the fuel pipes.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel temperature sensor.

2. Undo the retaining bolts.

3. Remove the fuel temperature sensor

Refitting

- Position the sensor and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the sensor.

- Connect the rapid connectors for the fuel pipes.

- Place the fuel filter mounting in position and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

2.2 16V JTD

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

See in Op. 1044B10

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the fuel filter mount (1b).

1. Disconnect the rapid connectors for the fuel pipes.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel temperature sensor.

2. Undo the retaining bolts.

3. Remove the fuel temperature sensor

Refitting

- Position the sensor duct and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the sensor.

- Connect the rapid connectors for the fuel pipes.

- Place the fuel filter mounting in position and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
