Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the door glass. For additional information, refer to the procedure in this Section: Door Glass.

  1. Detach the door speaker.

  1. Remove the door speaker.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re - bonding will be impaired.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:It will be necessary to peel back the watershield passed the door speaker housing to gain adequate access.
    Detach the watershield.
    • Using a plastic knife (disposable cutlery), cut through the Butyl strip to enable the watershield to be peeled back.

  1. Disconnect the regulator motor electrical connector.

  1. Remove the regulator guide.

  1. Detach the motor and regulator.
    1. Remove the nuts.
    1. Drill out the rivets.

  1. Remove the motor and regulator.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
