CYLINDER BLOCK/CRANKCASE-CYLINDER HEAD CENTERING BUSHES

Fitting instructions - Network Information

In advance of the Service Manual for the models concerned, we wish to notify you that the centering bushes for correctly positioning the cylinder head on the cylinder block/crankcase (1 - Fig. 1) and the centering bushes between the camshaft housing and the cylinder head (2 - Fig. 1) are different lengths (see table 1).

Therefore, during the operation of fitting one of the above mentioned components, take care not to mix up the bushes because the operation of the engine will be adversely affected due to the fact that they are different lengths.
