REVERSE LAMP SWITCH

Service repair no - 37.27.01

Remove

  1. Raise rear of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove engine compartment access panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
Reverse lamp switch – Remove engine compartment access panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  1. Disconnect reverse lamp switch connectors.
Reverse lamp switch – Disconnect reverse lamp switch connectors.
  1. Remove reverse lamp switch.
  2. Collect sealing washer and discard.

Refit

  1. Clean threads and mating faces of reverse lamp switch.
  2. Fit NEW sealing washer to reverse lamp switch.
  3. Fit and tighten reverse lamp switch to gearbox.
  4. Connect reverse lamp switch connectors.
  5. Fit engine compartment access panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  6. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
