- Remove 4 nuts and bolts securing front subframe to mounting brackets on body, collect washers.
- Remove 2 bolts securing emission canister purge valve to body.
- Position purge valve aside.
- Fit wooden block or hard rubber pad to jack and position jack to support rear of front subframe.
- Remove 2 bolts securing subframe turrets to body.
- Lower subframe to give a clearance of approximately 20 mm between the subframe turrets and body.
