BRAKE SERVO VACUUM PUMP

Service repair no - 70.50.19

Remove

1. Remove alternator. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.

2. Disconnect oil return pipe from vacuum pump.
3. Remove 4 bolts securing vacuum pump to alternator.
4. Remove vacuum pump from alternator.
5. Holding vacuum pump pulley in the soft jaws of a vice, remove pulley nut and remove pulley.

Refit

1. Clean vacuum pump and alternator mating faces.
2. Fit vacuum pump to alternator, fit and tighten bolts to 8 Nm.
3. Fit alternator. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.
