Reinstalling the oil pump

REINSTALLING THE OIL PUMP

Coat the gasket face (F) with a thin layer of AUTO GASKET GOLD (class 2) silicone paste.

FIT:

Fit the plate (8).

• The oil pump centering pin (6).
• The woodruff key.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.

PRE-ASSEMBLE AND INSTALL:

• oil pump
• oil pump chain
• oil pump drive gear

Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts to 10 Nm.

Coat the gasket face (E) with a thin layer of AUTO GASKET GOLD (class 2) silicone paste.

Fit the lip seal carrier plate (7). Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
