Removal
Removal
–  Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
–  Check whether a coded radio is fitted and if so consult the anti-theft code.
–  Release the frame cover.
   
–  Turn the casing over and remove the gear lever knob, loosening the clip -arrow 1-.
–  Unscrew the central console bolts -arrow 2-.
–  Remove front exhaust pipe: → 4 cyl. injection engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.26

–  Remove the front beam -arrow-.

–  Remove the rear beam -arrows-.
–  Remove front heat shield.
–  Release the rear exhaust pipe from its support and secure it conveniently.

–  Loosen the clamp -arrow- and separate the control rod from the angled finger.
–  Remove the securing bolts from the protection box to the bodywork and lower it down, together with the control rod.
