Transport and fix the gearbox to installation stand
Consult the tool and equipment equivalence tables for Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Base -T20172/1-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Tower -T20172/2-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Gear support -T20172/4A-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Holding tool -T20186-, see equivalent → Anchor

Procedure:
–  Fit the tower and the gear support to the base -T20172/1- -T20172/2- -T20172/4A-.
   
–  Fit counterhold -T20186- on gearbox in order to transport it.
  WARNING
When transporting, take care not to damage the transmission oil radiator.

–  Place the gear on the gear support -T20172/4A- as shown in the figure.
  Note
If you wish to move the gearbox on the installation stand so that the oil sump facing upwards (to drain off the oil), the breather pipes of the gearbox casing should be closed.
