Headlamp Bulb Replacement - Right Side (Halogen)
Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to
Halogen Bulb Warning .

For low beam bulb and daytime
running light bulb replacement remove the air cleaner first. Refer
to: |

To unlock the low beam cap
(1), rotate the cap counterclockwise. |
| 3. |
To unlock the high beam cap
(1), rotate the cap counterclockwise. |
| 4. |
To disassemble both caps (1),
drag in the direction of the arrows. |
| 5. |
To unlock the DRL cap (1),
insert a screwdriver in a groove at the back of the cap and rotate
it counterclockwise. |
| 6. |
To unlock the low beam bulb
(1), rotate bulb socket and sheetmetal retaining spring
counterclockwise. |
| 7. |
To unlock the high beam bulb
(1), rotate bulb socket and sheetmetal retaining spring
counterclockwise. |
| 8. |
To remove the DRL bulb (1),
push both encircled snaps (2) together and remove the bulb holder
from its socket. |
Installation Procedure
Warning: Refer to
Halogen Bulb Warning .

To install the DRL bulb (1),
push both encircled snaps (2) together and insert the bulb holder
to its socket. Release the snaps to lock the bulb. |

To lock the high beam bulb
(1), rotate bulb socket and sheetmetal retaining spring
clockwise. |
| 3. |
To lock the low beam bulb (1),
rotate bulb socket and sheetmetal retaining spring
clockwise. |
| 4. |
To lock the DRL cap (1),
insert a screwdriver in a groove at the back of the cap and rotate
it clockwise. |
| 5. |
Position the high beam and low
beam caps. |
| 6. |
To lock the high beam cap (1),
rotate the cap clockwise. |
| 7. |
To lock the low beam cap (1),
rotate the cap clockwise. |
| 8. |
install the air cleaner after
low beam bulb and daytime running light bulb replacement. Refer
to: |
