  1. Lower the tailgate, raise the protection cap and slacken the nut fastening the rearscreen wiper arm.
  2. Remove the wiper arm.

  1. Using tool no. 1.823.014.000, remove the rearscreen wiper rubber cap.

  1. Raise the tailgate and slacken the three screws fastening the rearscreen wiper motor.

  1. Pull the wiper motor off the tailgate just enough to disconnect the detergent fluid tube and then remove the motor.

  • Release the wiring from the fastening clamps.
  1. Using tool no. 1.823.014.000, remove the cable sleeve from the tailgate.
  2. Withdraw the cables.

  1. Suitably prop the tailgate, then disconnect the two telescopic shock absorbers.
