TAILGATE

REMOVAL/REFITTING

  • Disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).
  • Open the boot and release the parcel shelf support cables.
  1. Using tool 1.823.014.000, remove the upper tailgate trim from the plastic nails (five) and remove it.

  1. Using tool 1.823.014.000, remove the left side trim.

  1. Using tool 1.823.014.000, remove the lower tailgate trim from the plastic nails (eight) and remove it.

  • Disconnect the electrical connections of:
  1. Rear screen motor
  2. Tailgate open warning light
  3. Tailgate control opening actuator.

  1. Disconnect the two, right and left rearscreen heating connectors.
