Operation 1004E42 · Engine assembly inspection and repairs

1.9 JTD 8V

Proceed with Refer to op. 1004E10 engine, removed - remove cylinder head and oil sump for inspection - includes positioning on stand and removal.

Proceed with Refer to op. 1016E10 single cylinder head, removed - overhaul.

Proceed with Refer to op. 1004E20 engine - dismantle and re-build following operation 1004e10 - wash and check dismantled parts - re-fit cylinder head and oil sump - does not include repairs to cylinder head and auxiliary unit.

1.9 JTD 16V

Position the engine on the overhauling stand Refer to op. 1004D40 engine - position on stand and remove.

Remove the cylinder head and oil sump Refer to op. 1004E10 engine, removed - remove cylinder head and oil sump for inspection - includes positioning on stand and removal.

Overhaul the cylinder head Refer to op. 1016E10 single cylinder head, removed - overhaul.

Finish dismantling, overhaul and reassembly of the engine Refer to op. 1004E20 engine - dismantle and re-build following operation 1004e10 - wash and check dismantled parts - re-fit cylinder head and oil sump - does not include repairs to cylinder head and auxiliary unit.

Remove the engine from the overhaul stand Refer to op. 1004D40 engine - position on stand and remove.
