Removal

1 Unscrew the bolts

2 Remove the lock striker.

Refitting

Check that the lock striker is not damaged.

1 Position the lock striker.

2 Screw in the retaining bolts without tightening.

3 Position the striker in the correct position, using the slotted holes for the bolts. Permitted adjustment movements are indicated by arrows.

4 Tighten the bolts.

Screw M6 – Tail-gate lock striker: 0.75 daNm

Check that the striker and catch fit together properly and are aligned when the tailgate is closed.
