Operation 3310A48 · Front disc brakes

Removal

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with the removal See Op. 4450B10 Front or rear wheel (one) - r+r .

1 Release the front brake caliper flexible pipe from the mounting bracket.

2 Undo the bolts 2a and move the bracket 2b complete with brake caliper 2c without disconnecting the pipe.

1 Unscrew the bolt 1a and remove the front brake disc 1b.

Refitting

1 Refit the front brake disc 1a in its seating and tighten its bolt 1b to the specified torque.

Pin M8 – Front brake discs 1b: (Wheel hub side) 1.0 ÷ 1.4 daNm

1 Place the bracket 1a complete with brake caliper 1b in its seating and tighten the bolts 1c to the specified torque.

Screw M12 – Front brake caliper bracket 1c: (Front steering knuckle side) 11.1 ÷ 12.3 daNm

Fit the front brake caliper flexible pipe to the mounting bracket.

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 4450B10 Front or rear wheel (one) - r+r .

Remove the car from the ramp.
