An oil leak is seen from the gearbox/differential

Step	Test procedure	Result	Action
0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS Check whether the fault is accompanied by a noise from the gearbox with the vehicle stationary and in neutral Check the gearbox/differential fluid level Op. 2110A04	OK	Move onto step 1
		Noise detected from the gearbox	See table S22 GEARBOX NOISE End of diagnosis
		Fluid level not correct	Restore the correct level Op. 2110A04 If the fault persists, continue Move onto step 1
1	LEAKS CHECK Thoroughly wash the gearbox, cover it with talc and road test the vehicle. Visually check that there are no leaks In particular, check the condition of the gaskets: gearbox input shaft gasket rear cover gasket differential oil seal	OK	Move onto step 2
		Leaks from the seals	Replace the gaskets Op. 2110C24 End of diagnosis
		Leaks from the seals	Replace the flange Op. 2110D53 End of diagnosis
		Leaks from the seals	Replace the oil seal Op. 2110D62 End of diagnosis
2	GEARBOX CASING CHECK Visually check the condition of the gearbox casing, using talc	OK	Move onto step 3
2		Casing damaged, cracked or distorted	Replace the gearbox casing, the rear cover, or the entire gearbox Op. 2110B32 End of diagnosis
3	CORRECT OPERATION CHECK Check that the fault is no longer present	OK	Incorrect selection of diagnostic procedure
3		Fault persists	Incorrect selection of diagnostic procedure
