PARKING LIGHTS NOT WORKING

Parking lights do not work under any circumstances.

The parking light activation signal (side and number plate lights) is sent directly from the Body Computer Node.

The parking lights are switched on by the driver using the ignition key and the steering column switch unit. With the key in PARK and the lights switched off, there are two cases:

1. Steering column switch unit in neutral lights up all the side lights, no. plate lights and side lights warning light in the instrument panel

2. Steering column switch unit turned to the left or the right, the left or right side lights, respectively, come on

2	CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Connect the Examiner to the diagnostic socket and check that there are no faults at the Body Computer Node:	Continue to Step 3	Faults present.	Continue according to the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
3	ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the condition of the connection between the ignition switch and the Body Computer See See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS	Continue to Step 4	Connections broken	Restore the connections See See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS

			One front light does not come on	Replace the bulb Op. 5540B26
			One rear light does not come on	Replace the bulb Op. Op. 5540A50 TAIL-LIGHT BULB (ONE), LH OR RH - REPLACE
