  1. Slacken the two screws fastening the bonnet to the hinges at each side.
  2. Remove the bonnet lid.
  3. Retrieve any shims.

Refit the bonnet reversing the sequence followed for removal. Adjust the bonnet position.

ADJUSTMENT

Check the correct mating between the boot lid and the body and, if necessary, proceed as follows.

  1. Loosen the screws fastening the boot lid to the hinges.
  2. Adjust the longitudinal position of the boot lid.
  3. If necessary, increase or reduce the shims for adjusting the boot lid in height in the hinges area.
  4. Tighten the screws.

COMPLETE SPIDER BOOT LID REMOVAL/REFITTING

WARNING: During removal (or refitting) avoid damaging the paintwork.

  • Open the boot and the battery.
  1. Using tool 1.823.015.000 remove the plastic buttons fastening the inner trim.
  2. Remove the inner trim.

  1. Remove the cable container channels.
  2. Disconnect the wiring from the lock unit and release it from the bonnet.
