LOCK STRIKER

Removal/Refitting

  • Remove the boot rear trim (see specific paragraph).
  1. Slacken the two screws and remove the lock striker.
Diagram showing lock striker removal with part 1 indicated

Refit the lock striker reversing the sequence followed for removal. Adjust the position of the striker.

ADJUSTMENT

  1. Loosen the two fastening screws.
  2. Adjust the position of the striker to obtain perfect mating with the boot lock.
  • Retighten the screws.

BOOT MOULDING

REMOVAL/REFITTING

  • Open the boot.
  1. Starting from the jointing area, remove the seal around the whole perimeter of the boot.

Refit the moulding reversing the sequence followed for removal.
