Diagram showing the central power unit mount and drive shaft connection point on the engine/transmission assembly.
Diagram showing two bolts located on the gearbox bell housing, indicated by arrows.
Diagram illustrating the positioning of tool 1860860000 on a hydraulic jack, secured to the power unit using adaptor 1860859003 and tool 1860859000 at specific mounting points.
  1. Remove central power unit mount in order to permit positioning of engine mount tool. Support engine using a hydraulic jack while this operation is completed.
  2. Remove bolts shown in figure from gearbox bell housing in so that tool can be positioned to remove the power unit.
  3. Position tool 1860860000 for fitting power unit onto hydraulic jack and fasten to power unit by means of tool 1860859000 and adaptor 1860859003, at the points shown in the figure.

The hydraulic jack should have a capacity of at least 1000 kg and be high enough to allow the engine to be removed from underneath. Take note, therefore, of maximum possible lift height and minimum possible jack height.
