SUN ROOF WATER PENETRATION

After rain or washing, water infiltration through the sunroof is noticed.

1SUN ROOF DRAINAGE CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check the sunroof drainage pipes.

In particular, check:

  • pipe condition;
  • for dirt, leaves etc.
Move on to Step 2Dirt in the drains.Clean the drains. If necessary, restore the correct fitting.
2SUN ROOF SEAL CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check the sun roof seal..

In particular, check:

  • for kinks in the seal;
  • the condition of the seal.
Move on to Step 3Seal fitting faulty

Refit the seal correctly

3SUN ROOF ALIGNMENT CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check that the sun roof is fitted correctly.

In particular, check:

  • correct alignment of the roof - compartment;
  • seal adheres correct to the roof.
Move on to Step 4Faults with the sun roof installation.Check that the sun roof is fitted correctly.
4CHECK THE SEAL OF THE SUNROOF SLIDE BOLTSALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the seal of the bolts securing the slides to the sunroof structure.End of diagnosisIncorrect bolt fastening.Restore the correct fastenings of the slides to the sunroof structure and check for the seal
