WIND NOISE FROM THE REAR AREA

With the vehicle moving, there is noise coming from the rear area of the passenger compartment

0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Test results
	First of all check that the boot closes correctly and that the outside aerial is correctly fastened. Check that the wind noise is actually coming from the rear area.	Move on to Step 1	The wind noise is coming from the front doors.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T001 WIND NOISE FROM THE FRONT DOORS
			The wind noise is coming from the rear doors.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T002 WIND NOISE FROM THE REAR DOORS
			The wind noise is coming from the area of the bonnet.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T005 BONNET WIND NOISE
			The wind noise is coming from the area of the windscreen.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T006 WINDSCREEN WIND NOISE
			The wind noise is coming from the sun roof.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T020 WIND NOISE FROM THE SUN ROOF
			The wind noise is coming from the lower part of the passenger compartment.	Proceed as instructed in the See table T010 PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WIND NOISE, LOWER AREA (UNDERBODY)
1	REAR LIGHTS CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the rear lights. In particular, check: - The alignment of the lights with the wing or the tailgate is correct; - The lights are correctly fitted	Move on to Step 2	Fitting of exterior rear lights faulty	Restore the correct fitting of the exterior rear lights Op. 5540A56 EXTERIOR REAR LIGHT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
		Move on to Step 2	Internal rear light fitting faulty.	Restore the correct fitting of the internal rear light Op. 5540A68 INTERIOR REAR LIGHT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
2	REARSCREEN CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the condition of the rearscreen perimeter seal (no creases or wrinkles)	End of diagnosis	Perimeter seal not correctly fitted.	Restore and, if necessary, replace the perimeter seal, removing the window Op. 7035B14 REAR WINDOW GLASS - R.R INCLUDES CLEANING HOUSING
