COURTESY LIGHTS - OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

The Body Computer M001 receives "door open" input signals at pin 8 of connector D (driver''s front door), pin 25 of connector E (passenger side front door), PIN 16 of connector D (left rear door) and pin 26 of connector E (right rear door).

Inertia switch I050 (NO contact) is connected to pin 17 of connector D of M001.

Front courtesy light G010 and side rear courtesy lights on the left G025 and right G026 are supplied via a line protected by fuse F39 of under-facia junction unit B002.

The front courtesy light G10 is controlled by the Body Computer M001: Pin 28 of connector E receives an analogue control signal from three buttons on the courtesy light. On the basis of this signal, Body Computer M001 supplies timed earth signals from pins 21, 30, 37 of connector E to control the central light and the left and right spotlights.

The ear courtesy lights on the left G025 and right G026 are controlled by the door control units on the driver side M066 and passenger side M067: pin 12 of connector B receives control signals from buttons on the courtesy lights while pin 14 of connector B sends timed, dimmed negative signals to the relevant lights.

Via the CAN line, Body Computer M001 - pin 24 and 25 of connector H - connects to ignition device H003 - pins 1 and 2 - for timed management of the remote control lights (door lock/release) or due to key removal (key-OFF).
