The earths present on the vehicle, categorised according to their relationship with the various wires, are as follows.

Battery negative wiring:

- battery earth on engine, C002

- battery earth on bodyshell, C003

Engine prewiring:

- earth on engine (petrol versions), C040 A and C040 B

- injection control unit earth (diesel versions), C060

Front wiring:

- left front earth, C010

- right front earth, C011

- ABS front earth, C012

- electric steering front earth, C014

- radiator earth, C045

Facia wiring:

- passenger side dashboard earth, C020 A and C020 B

- Air Bag system earth, C050 A

- air conditioning unit earth, C016

Rear wiring:

- passenger side dashboard earth, C020 C

- driver''s dashboard earth, C015

- left rear earth, C030

- right rear earth, C031

- rearscreen earth, C032
