RADIO - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The radio preparation couplings receive the ignition-controlled power supply INT at pin 7 of connector A from the steering lock control unit via the line protected by fuse F49 of the dashboard junction unit B002.
Pin 6 of connector A receives the signal for the fixed lighting (not dimmed) with the side lights on from the Body Computer M001 - pin 18 of connector H.
See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS
Pin 5 of connector A for the radio preparation is a supplementary electric aerial supply lead. The pin for connector A is earthed.
The aerial P025 arrives in the DIN compartment by means of the special coaxial lead.
Conector B for the radio preparation is connected to the speakers:
- pins 5 and 6 to the driver''s side front speakers P035 (mid-woofer) and P045 (tweeter);
- pins 3 and 4 to the passenger side front speakers P036 (mid-woofer) and P046 (tweeter);
- pins 7 and 8 to the left rear speaker P040,
- pins 1 and 2 to the right rear speaker P041.
