1. Release and remove the oil seal from the front crankshaft cover.

The oil seal removal operation is destructive so it must always be replaced.

Refitting

1. Use the special fitting tool and fit the new oil seal to the front crankshaft cover.

Refitting

Remove the oil seal from the housing in the front cover.

The oil seal is ruined during the removal operation so it must always be replaced.

Refitting

1. Fit the new oil seal (1a) introducing it into the housing in the front cover using the tool (1b).
