HEATED SEATS - DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION

The front seats are available, on request, with a special heating system (comprising two heating elements located in the cushion and the backrest): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter.

The heating device located in each seat consists of two resistors activated by a controls located on the console between the two seats.

A special LED next to the switches indicates that the coils are switched on.

Once a certain temperature has been reached the heating stops automatically thanks to a thermal contact inside the actual device.

Seat heating is ignition-operated (INT).

The seat heating circuit is controlled by two special relays and protected by two specific fuses located in the fuse box in the boot.
