Removing

Move the seat forward to the end of its travel.

1. Remove the cover (1a) releasing the retainers (1b).

2. Undo the bolts.

3. Remove the seat height adjustment lever.

1. Undo the bolts.

2. Remove the shield.

Refitting

Check that the guard is undamaged.

Position the shield and fix it using the bolts

Position the lever and secure it using the bolts.

Position the cover attaching the retainers.
