Removing

Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

1. Using the clips, release the protection for the handbrake.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the cigar lighter/current socket.

2. Remove the handbrake protection.

Refitting

Connect the electrical connection to the cigar lighter/current socket.

Place the handbrake protection back in its housing, securing it using the clips.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
