RADIO - Description

Description

The vehicle has a radio system comprising:

• radio
• front speakers (woofers located in the doors and separate tweeters);
• rear speakers located in the rear side panel;
• radio supply cables;
• leads connecting the radio to the speakers;
• fishpole antenna with base mounted on the rear of the roof, coaxial cable and supply cable for aerial amplifier.

It is also possible to install a sophisticated Hi Fi system equipped with specific high fidelity loudspeakers with external amplifier See E3510 RADIO.

The radio is a node on the CAN network through which it exchanges information with the Body Computer and the other electronic units.

The radio has an anti-theft system made by connecting the radio on the CAN network to the Body Computer.

The radio also manages the volume control linked to the vehicle speed: there is an increase and decrease in volume in accordance with the vehicle speed: this information reaches the radio node via the CAN.

Some versions have a set of buttons on the steering wheel: these make is possible to 'duplicate' some commands which are acquired in the same way by the radio.

A multi-pole cable connecting the radio to the CD player, located in the boot, on the left hand side, may be fitted on request.

HI-FI

Description

A sophisticated HI FI system with special speakers and an outside amplifier is available on request.

The system has been developed ad hoc for the vehicle: the acoustic properties of the passenger compartment have been carefully studied so that the amplifier and the speakers are perfectly suited to the vehicle: the sound is excellent throughout the passenger compartment.

Unlike the system fitted as standard, this system includes:

• specific midwoofer type speakers with separate tweeters, both front and rear
• rear subwoofer speaker with a high power built in amplifier in the special ventilated bassbox located in the luggage compartment.

The other components (radio, aerial, etc.) are the same as those on the system fitted as standard.
