IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER FAULT DIAGNOSIS AT ABS CONTROL UNIT

The diagnostic tester will not allow diagnosis of the ABS control unit

Check that the power supply for the diagnostic socket is correct

See E8010 DIAGNOSTIC MULTIPLE CONNECTOR

Also check the continuity of the K line

Check the operation of the Body Computer

Move on to Step 2 1
  • No diagnostic socket power supply
  • Continuity problems at K line
  • Body Computer defective
  • Restore diagnostic socket power supply
  • Renew the wiring, if necessary, replace the faulty components

  • Replace Body Computer

Check the power supply to the ABS control unit is correct and the power supply to the diagnostic socket is correct

See E7020 ABS

Check that the fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard is still working properly

Move on to Step 3 1
  • No control unit power supply
  • Fuse blown
