• remove the interior rear view mirror from its housing, extracting it upwards.

NOTE Before starting the cutting procedure, create a protected area, using adhesive tape, along the edge of the front window glass housing, to prevent damaging the paintwork.

• cut a piece fo wire about 50 cm long;
• introduce one end of the wire through the sealant, using a special needle;
• fix the end of the wire inside the vehicle to a special retaining tool and the other end to a handle;

• suitably manoeuvre the wire from inside and outside the vehicle in order to cut the sealant along the entire perimeter of the window glass;

Take special care when cutting sections which are not straight.
