Disconnect - reconnect airbag control unit

DISCONNECT - RECONNECT AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT

WARNING
Disconnect and isolate the battery terminals. When carrying out the procedures, strictly observe the safety regulations given in the previous update.

Disconnect

• Lever upwards to release the air supply duct (1) for the rear seats.
• Pull it out and remove it from the vehicle.

• Lever to release the retention clips (1) of the air supply duct.
• Cut the floor covering carpet (2), along the pre-cut lines, with a blade of adequate size.

• Lift the flap (1) of the floor covering.
• Unscrew the studs (2) retaining the protection cover for the control unit compartment.
• Remove the protection cover (3) for the control unit compartment.
