  1. Remove the engine compartment protection.

  • Remove the engine oil filler cap.
  • Remove the oil level control rod.
  1. Unscrew the engine oil drain plug(1a) with tool(1b)and recover the engine oil in a suitable container

  1. Unscrew the gear case guard screws.
  2. Remove the gear case guard.

  1. Unscrew the engine oil sump fastening screws.
  2. Remove the engine oil sump.
  3. Remove the engine oil sump gasket.

Note: To loosen the engine oil sump knock lightly with a resin hammer.

Refitting

Replace the engine oil sump gasket after every disassembly.

  • Assemble the engine oil sump with a new gas-ket.
  • Tighten the engine oil sump screws to correct torque
