2. Remove the gear case guard.

1. Assemble the engine flywheel retaining tool

1. Unscrew the crankshaft pulley nut using the tool

2. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

1. Take the oil seal out from the timing system cover.

When removing the oil seal, be very careful not to damage the crankshaft or timing system cover.

Refitting

Before reassembling the new timing system cover oil seal, moisten the sealing edge with engine oil.

• Assemble the new timing system cover oil seal using the tool

• Assemble the crankshaft pulley and tighten the nut to correct torque
