  1. Unscrew the crankshaft pulley nut using tool

  1. Remove the crankshaft pulley .

  1. Unscrew the screws (1a)of the rev sensor (1b) and move it.

  • Remove the engine oil sump (see Op. 1020A10 CRANK CASE SUMP - R+R and Replace gasket).
  1. Unscrew the timing system cover screws.
  2. Remove the timing system cover and gasket.

Refitting

  • Assemble the timing system cover with a new gasket and fasten with its screws.
  • Assemble the engine oil sump (see Op. 1020A10 CRANK CASE SUMP - R+R and Replace gasket).
  • Reposition the rev sensor and fasten with its screws.
  • Assemble the crankshaft pulley and tighten the nut to correct torque
