- Take out the catalytic converter from the silencer and remove.
Note: To separate the catalytic converter pipe from the exhaust silencer knock it lightly with an aluminium or lead hammer on the catalytic converter front flange.
Refitting
- Insert the catalytic converter completely into the exhaust silencer.
- Tighten the exhaust silencer flange nut to correct torque

- Complete with Op. 1076B50 Exhaust PIPE attachment to engine/manifold- R+R.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

- Remove the vehicle from the hoist.
