Unhook the alternator belt and remove it.
Refitting
Fit on the alternator belt.
Reposition the alternator belt tightener.
Complete with Op. 1092B64 Alternator BELT - Tension adjustmentComplete with Op. 1092D10 Air conditioner compressor BELT - R+R.Complete with Op. 1092D14 Air conditioner compressor BELT - Tension adjustmentComplete with Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R.R.Complete with Op. 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal
Remove the body protection cover.
Remove the vehicle from the hoist.
1092B64 - ALTERNATOR BELT - TENSION ADJUSTMENT
Position the vehicle on a hoist.
Assemble the body protection covers.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Follow Op. 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.
Follow Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (One) - R.R.
Loosen the fastening screw of the alternator belt tightener.
Move the alternator belt tightener (2a) to tension the belt (2b) and lock the tightener screw.
Check the alternator belt tension with the tool

Tensioning value of used belt
Measure Value Tension (daN) 30 - 41
Tensioning value of new belt
Measure Value Tension (daN) 48 - 60
Tighten the alternator belt tightener screw to correct torque
