  1. Undo the bolts on the timing gear bottom cover.
  2. Remove the timing gear bottom cover.

  1. Check that the timing mark on the driving pulley (1a) is lined up with the reference on the engine block (1b).

  1. Slacken the nut on the timing belt moving tensioner.
  2. Move the moving tensioner.
  3. Remove the timing belt.

Installation

  • Fit the timing belt on the pullies and moving tensioner.

The timing belt must be renewed whenever dismantled.
